Sunday, March 8th, and continuing until we announce our big winner on March 28th, 2009.

Wow. Wow. I have been waiting so long to tell you all about this! This has been in the works for...so long! I'm so excited I can't even think of synonyms. Wow. OK. So, I promised you all something big for Eli's 2nd Birthday, and here is is.

We are going to award a big, big, big prize package to a very, very deserving winner, and that's not all...we're going to benefit a couple of awesome charities while we're at it!

We have been so blessed by all of you who have been reading, writing me, loving Seth and our family, and helping support our cause to get him Cochlear Implants! We decided it was time to do something nice for all of you.

In addition to wanting to do something for you all, and continue to raise funds for Seth's surgery, you all know that Eli's birthday has really been on my heart lately. So what better way to celebrate his birthday than by holding this drawing in honor of him? We'll be donating part of the proceeds to a charity we prayerfully chose  in the hopes that they will be able to bring peace to a family who is going through what we went through just two years ago...that of losing our wanted and prayed for baby boy.

We will be donating proceeds from our Profound Pictures Prize Package (I told you I liked alliteration!) drawing to two deserving charities, Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep and Rhyan's Hope . Let me give you a little background on these two charities.

"Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep is a national 501(c)(3) not for profit voluntary organization dedicated to providing parents and families, that are suffering an early infant loss, with the gift of portraiture and DVD recordings. 

Funding from individuals and corporations has enabled NILMDTS to provide parents and families with heirlook memories of their baby. When birth and death do coincide, this is the only opportunity to substantiate the importance of this baby's life. We also strive to bring awareness and public education to the healing effects of bereavement photography."

"The mission of Rhyan's Hope is to glorify God while providing funds for cochlear implants. We believe that every child deserves the chance to hear regardless of age, sex, race, ethnicity, religion, or financial status. Our mission is to use our lives and story for the will and purpose of Jesus Christ. Rhyan's Hope is a 501(c)3 private, not-for-profit corporation.

The Profound Pictures Prize Package drawing is starting now and will run through Eli's 2nd Birthday, March 28th, when a winner for the Prize Package will be randomly drawn. As I stated above, the suggested donation is $10 per ticket, although you can donate whatever amount you choose. You will receive one ticket for each multiple of $10 you donate, and you can donate one time or several. The more tickets you buy, the more chances you'll have to win!
