Anatomy is killing me dead this week, but I stumbled upon some pictures I have been meaning to post for the longest time. Back in November, one of my friends from high school, Aimee, came down to visit and we took all the kids to the zoo. It was great to see them even though it was an insane day of storms and we all got soaking wet and Ava did not take to having to leave early and threw the biggest tantrum I have ever seen. You'd think it would have been good birth control for Aimee and her husband, but they're having another baby this fall, too!
I guess there's something in the water.
Anyway, the last time I was in Indiana Aimee told me over lunch one day about her family's wish to adopt a baby internationally to add to the two adorable kids they had at the time. Not much longer than a year after that visit, Harris became a permanent part of their family. I want to squeeze his cheeks, I'm not even kidding. I mean, really. This child is impossibly gorgeous and it's time he was officially introduced on the blog: Here's Harris!
And he also just turned one! Happy belated birthday, Harris!
In other news, I'm thinking of officially betrothing Seth to Aimee's daughter Selby. Seth and Selby? It's like it was meant to be. I'm sure she'd look more excited if she knew what "betrothed" meant.
On an unrelated note, I think this goat is a lot smarter than anyone gives him credit for. Just a hunch. It's in the eyes.
And just because I like them but have nothing witty to add:
All in all, huge humongous ridiculous tantrums aside, it was a fun day at the zoo! Can't wait to do it again, guys!
