Chugga Chugga Choo Choo!

All in all, we had a great time on the train. It was almost a full 24 hours on it, though. I managed to read The Shack, eat lots of honey roasted almonds, and read so many chapters of "Chrissa" out loud to Ava that I almost lost my voice. We ate one meal in the dining car, and after we saw the bill, we opted to snack on things we'd brought with us and things from the cafe car instead.

Thank goodness for Leapsters! The kids played them for hours. In fact, they were the only toy they brought with them for the trip to New York. Sometimes they like to play just one and I'll hear one of them coaching the other one on the right moves to make. I actually heard Ava and Jace refer to each other as their best friend on this trip! That was a first.

Sleeping Angels...Ava and Jace fell asleep by 7 pm and slept all night long! Seth...not so much. He was up to nurse SIX times on the way back to Florida. He just couldn't seem to figure out how to sleep near people.

We had a good time on the train. In the future, I'll probably wait until Seth's a little older before doing it again.  If it had just been us and the older kids, we would have had a blast! Luckily, Seth's pretty cute, so we're ok with him keeping us up all night. =)

El, this one just showed up in my "Dashboard" tonight, but its way down on your blog - and dated back to March 31st? Just wanted to make sure you were aware....

You can delete this one if ya want. =0)

Cute pics! I was just thinking about how you mentioned Seth couldn't figure out how to sleep soundly near other people - and I'm wondering how he'll sleep once he can HEAR sounds in the house during nap time :) I'm SO excited for the changes coming for that little man! {xo}

awwwwwwwww.. I love that the kids love each other.

I had step brothers for a few years as a kid and one of them and I used to say we were going to get married because we loved each other.

Ahh.. the innocence of children. (and.. um.. EW.)

Hey What did you think of the shack? I have been going back in forth trying to decide to read it or not. I stubbled across this from MckMamma's blog. I think your blog is great and and I am praying for Seth. Profoundly Seth.

I absolutely loved the book "The Shack". There were times I had to stop reading for awhile just let it all sink in. The pictures of your kids are so cute.
