Today, I'm thankful for my whole family. My sweet hearing one year old, who couldn't hear a sound last Thanksgiving, can now hear me whisper in his ear.
These two beautiful, spirited kids who have helped me survive the past several months of my life when I wasn't sure I could, who have made me laugh when all I want to do is cry.
All three of them, and their unique, funny personalities. I can't imagine life without them, and I love how much they each remind me of little things about their brother and help keep his memory alive.
And another thing I'm really thankful for? The fact that I'm showing you a 32 week picture of my BELLY instead of a 32 week picture of the new BABY. Thank GOD!
And also? I'm really, really thankful for all of you who have come alongside my family this year. Two years. Three years. Since Eli died, or since Seth was diagnosed, or since my husband left. Whether you're a reader I've never met, one of the great people I've become "real life" friends with thanks to this place, or a friend or family member who keeps up with us here, your support has meant the world to me. One of you hit the nail right on the head the other day...this place has become my outlet, the place I tell the stories I would normally tell at home, the place I can bounce ideas off of and vent to and I can't tell you how much you've all helped me. I'm so thankful for you!
