We're winding down the school year...Jace finished last week, Ava has a big party tomorrow and her Kindergarten class is graduation on Thursday. Today, we had a big party for the last day of homeschool.
Mara's beautiful little Nora was born on Saturday, and the thing I've been waiting for...that I've known would most signify summer for me, has happened.
Of course, I'm referring to the LOST finale.
My brain is still mush.
It was awfully nice, though, watching the finale we've been waiting so long to see while getting to cuddle a sweet new baby.
I don't really completely understand what happened, but what I loved seeing was all the characters be redeemed, end up with each of their very own constants. There were a few scenes that had my heart pounding, where Tommy and I would look at each other and say "Did that just happen?!" It was, in essence, great television, no matter whether I loved the ending.
And so now it's summer. Almost, anyway. Three months of hanging out, insane heat, and finding things to do with four kids so they don't drive me insane. Bribing them to sleep in. A trashed house since we're all home all day.
I can't wait.
