I'm interrupting my ever lengthening blog silence to post some adorable pictures of the kids playing in the rain yesterday. Of course, I told them not to play in the mud, but that went out the window in about two point two seconds. I was tempted to just hose them down at the end of it all, but instead I had all three of them strip down on the porch and troop into the house through an artfully designed (if I do say so myself) path of towels, straight into the shower, where they stayed until every last bit of dirt and silt was washed off.
I think it was worth it, though...they look like they had fun, don't you think?
