Hop on Pop

John was home for the first time all week tonight...he's been working a second job and we have hardly seen him! Tonight was also the night "our" seniors come over. We, along with our friends, Chad and Abbi, teach youth group. I can't even tell you how much fun it is! I love spending time with them, and my kids are obsessed with the big kids. They freak out when they come over and by the end of the night, they are exhausted, wired, and wound up, all at once. They are also getting alarmingly good at Mario Kart.

But the thing I love the most about these nights is that I really get a chance to see these kids. We are so blessed to have them around...they have such great hearts and minds, and I can tell they are really striving to work for Christ. It is so heartening to see it, and I love the example they set for my kids to grow into.

So, tomorrow is a big day for us...Seth starts his speech therapy! I really have no idea what that will look like, but it is another step towards getting language to our little boy! Then, in the afternoon, we will be meeting with his ENT to discuss the results of his CT scan. So please, send some more prayers our way!
