Claire's "This whole being one with nature thing is really uncomfortable." got the popular vote and it cracked me up!
Mandy's "Um, mom? I don't think I want to be a Vegas showgirl anymore. The headpieces are way too heavy." had me in stitches.
Shawna's "Another baby?!?! I'm running out of places to find some peace and quiet in this house!" was great. It's funny because it's true.
I also laughed out loud at Sarah's "Mom said Christmas trees need to be watered!" I totally would not put that past one of my kids. For real.
I thought Sadie's "The things kids do to get a glimpse of Santa!" was pretty adorable, too.
Thanks for making me laugh, guys! I'll have to be on the lookout for a cute prize for the next time I end up with a caption-worthy photo.

We have done nothing today but lay around. We did rally this morning and get dressed and ready to go out, but then our motivation ran off somewhere and we ended up watching a movie (Ava and Jace) and taking a nap (me, Seth, and Evany) instead. Then we did some cleaning and organizing (yes, I do think that is a fun vacation activity. I know I'm a dorlk.). Now Jace is passed out on the couch and Evany is asleep in the bouncy seat and Seth is bossing Ava and I around trying to get us to do something. Not sure what, really.
Evany is doing well as usual except we're having some skin issues. The spots on her chest and belly where the sticky probe things go for her monitor are causing some skin breakdown and I'm not quite sure what to do about it. She's also getting a terrible diaper rash, and her skin is in pretty bad shape. I think the main issue is that her skin is still just fragile and thin, but it's definitely becoming an issue. Any tips from people who have been there?
I'm going to herd my kids into bed now and I'll be back later to post something with actual content.
