Calling all crafty people

So the Gala is coming up, the Gala, the Gala!

Look, I procrastinated again!

If you weren't reading last year, every spring Ava's school holds a big fancy schmancy dinner and silent auction. I'm in charge of decorating a table. Click here to see last year's.

Last year the theme was "Decades" and we went with the 80s. I was thrilled with how it turned out.

This year, the theme is "A Knight with the Classics." (Our mascot is a Knight.) Harder theme. We don't HAVE to follow the theme, but it is fun. But I'm desparate. Any cute tables will be considered.

I need cute tablescape ideas. Like that term? Mara taught it to me...it's fancy. I'm wearing a black dress, if that helps. The random ideas have had thing to do with calligraphy and old, leather books, possibly little books with flowers in them as place cards. Medieval type colors.

But I'm not attached to any of those ideas. I need your help!
