I've been eating at this place for six years, so at least I'm a little familiar with some of the food and people, but it's been so overwhelming learning to be out in public again. I'm kidding. Not really. It's amazing how much parents can use their kids as a buffer to the outside world. I feel kind of like I've gotten thrown out into the real world all over again, and I don't have four cute kids to to take the pressure of me being a human being.
I like it, though. It's an awesome little local watering hole with some amazing food and music, and the people, both the customers and the employees, are friendly and great. It's a fun place to be. I just have to find a balance between getting the chores done around here and exactly how regimented I'm going to need to be with the kids and our schedule to make cutting several hours out of our day doable. The past couple days I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get dinner and all the normal daily chores done hours earlier than usual. But I think it's going to work out well.
But I'm way too tired to do much but post this picture of the kids' dance party the other day. The other, insanely hilarious pictures of the dress up party they had will have to come later. Isn't Jace's farmer's tan the cutest thing you've ever seen? Or maybe the dorkiest, you can be the judge. I also love how Vivi is just sleeping like a rock though this raucous dance party. She's that laid back!
